Gloria “Teri” Sandoval earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education from the University of Nevada-Reno and her Doctor of Philosophy Degree from The Ohio State University. Her experience teaching Nevada and New Mexico at the secondary, post-secondary and graduate levels spans more than fifteen years. She has served as the coordinator of a national program for disadvantaged women and a college director of student support services. As WACCS’ Educational Coordinator, Teri oversees our English as a Second Language classes, high school equivalency preparation, and the computer program. She also works individually with students to identify and ameliorate barriers to progress.
